Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 August 2026
This policy explains what information SquadRise processes today and how that may change as we add features such as advertising. We aim to keep it short and honest.
Overview
SquadRise is a football club-management game. Playing requires a free account: leagues are shared with other players, so sign-in is what connects your club to them. Cloud features (authentication and league sync) are powered by Supabase.
Information we process
- On-device data: your player profile, squad, and progress are stored locally on your device.
- Account data: we process your email and authentication identifiers to provide sign-in. Sign-in can use email, Apple, or Google. Your profile can also include a display name and an optional nationality.
- Gameplay data: data such as league membership, clubs, fixtures, match results, in-game stadium/finance information, and club chat messages you send is synced to our backend.
- Device features we use: local notifications (to remind you about your upcoming match — these are scheduled on your device and are not sent through a third-party push or advertising service) and the clipboard (only when you choose to copy or share a club invite link).
Advertising (planned)
SquadRise does not currently display advertisements. We plan to introduce ads in the future and may work with third-party advertising partners to do so.
- When ads are introduced, they may be contextual (not based on your personal profile) or personalized, depending on your consent, your region, your device settings, and how the ad provider is configured.
- On iOS, advertising that tracks you across other companies' apps and websites requires your permission. If we enable that kind of advertising, we will ask through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, and you can change your choice at any time in your device settings.
- No advertising SDK is currently installed in the app. If and when we add a specific ad provider, that partner may collect data — such as a device or advertising identifier — under its own privacy policy. We will update this Privacy Policy with the provider's name and data practices before or when ads go live.
Analytics, tracking & device identifiers
Today, SquadRise does not include third-party analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDKs, does not access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), and does not use App Tracking Transparency. If this changes in the future (for example, when we add advertising or product analytics), we will update this policy to describe it.
Third-party services
We use Supabase for authentication and cloud data, and Apple / Google sign-in where you enable them. In the future we may also use one or more advertising providers (see Advertising above). These providers process data under their own privacy policies.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your cloud account and synced gameplay data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from inside the app (Settings → Sign out & reset → Delete Account) or as described at Delete your account. Deletion removes your account, profile, club membership, and chat messages. Some shared league records you took part in — such as fixtures, match results, and league history — are kept for the other players in your league, but are disconnected from your identity. Data held by any third-party provider (for example, a future ad network) is governed by that provider's own retention practices.
Children
SquadRise is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. If we introduce advertising, we will configure it in line with the requirements that apply to our audience.
Your choices
- Turn match notifications on or off in your device settings.
- Report or block other players from Club Chat, and manage blocked players in Settings.
- Control ad personalization and tracking through your device settings (and the App Tracking Transparency prompt, if shown).
- Delete your account and cloud data at any time.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes — such as introducing advertising or a new third-party provider — will be reflected here, and we will update the "Last updated" date above.
